Green Bay Botanical Garden hosts annual Winter Celebration

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Before the snow hit Saturday, people were out enjoying free admission at the Green Bay Botanical Garden.

It was for the annual Winter Celebration event. It included a scavenger hunt, game and activity stations, as well as take-home crafts.

Organizers say the weather was perfect for the event.

“The snow is just dripping gently,” said Michael Pietraszek, the education intern at the garden. “It’s a beautiful time to come and enjoy the garden and see so many of our trees and shrubs and evergreens. They’re just coated in that beautiful white powder.”

The garden has more events planned this winter. They say to keep an eye on their social media pages for announcements.
