House Democratic Chief Steny Hoyer declared Wednesday that Democrats will abide by via on their menace to keep a floor vote Thursday that would strip embattled GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee assignments soon after she espoused conspiracy theories.

Hoyer made the announcement after meeting with Home Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

“I spoke to Chief McCarthy this early morning, and it is very clear there is no option to holding a Flooring vote on the resolution to eliminate Rep. Greene from her committee assignments. The Principles Committee will meet up with this afternoon, and the Home will vote on the resolution tomorrow,” Hoyer said in a statement.

It is unclear if McCarthy will act to take away Greene from her committee assignments himself.

“Chief McCarthy will address this with associates later on currently,” a spokesman told ABC News on Hoyer’s conclusion to hold a vote Thursday to remove Greene from her committee assignments.
