House explodes in Plum, sends 5 people to the hospital

PLUM (KDKA) — After a house exploded overnight in Plum Borough, a family members was rushed to the hospital.

There had been three older people and two children taken to the clinic from Hialeah Drive.  

A single human being was lifeflighted out. 

Fire officers say to begin with, the fireplace, which started off all around 11:30 p.m. previous night time, spread to residences remaining and right.

Neighbors say they noticed a boy jump from a window of the residence with damaged glass and ash on his again.

The sight of the flames was shocking for neighbors.
