SAN ANTONIO – Looking for something to do this weekend and like flowers?

Well you’re in luck because it’s orchid weekend at the San Antonio botanical garden!

Hundreds of blossoming orchids will be on display including many unique and rare species.

You can even stop by the exhibit room for a photo-op with the orchid wall!

Vendors including the garden gift shop will have a wide range of orchids and other plants for sale.

They are also offering orchid tours and classes.

“We’re doing behind the scene orchid tour of our green houses, we’re doing orchid care clinics, for that orchid you might have at home and you’re not quite sure what to do with, our experts will let you know,” Sabina Carr, Chief Executive Officer of San Antonio Botanical Garden said.

If you’re interested, they will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
